A short outing with a new friend from photomalaysia.com

First of all, thanks "Rhizomegrazz" of photomalaysia.com for the warm company and long chat. Too bad the weather and timing were not so permitting for us to have a longer TT together.

Anyway, it was quite fun revisiting these places. The fields were greener now. I didnt take many shots due to the weather and a sore left arm. I am planning another outing to these places again. Hopefully with some friends.

#2. Damn haze.

#3. No sunset as hoped!

2 days of fun!

The 1st 9 images were taken on Sunday, September 6th at DID Paya Payang Irrigation Scheme, Tebedu about 40 km from the small town of Serian. I went there with an Alpha friend who loves doing HDR. How I wished there was no haze. Our shots could be much better. Anyway, have fun viewing the images.

These last few images were taken on Saturday morning. I spotted this family working on their paddy farm (slash & burn farming) while on the way to meet a friend. I stopped by the roadside, went to them and asked the permission to photograph them. They agreed and I spent about an hour with them. What a kind & friendly family. When I was about to leave, they even invited me to join them for some porridge!

My 1st wedding photo shoot

When a friend invited me to help him with a wedding photo shoot, I didnt take long to say yes because the experience would be very valuable. It would be my 1st time. Well, I did enjoy myself though it was very very tiring.

Lets meet the couple. This young lady is Judith and her hubby is Paul. Both working in KL but decided to get married at their kampung (village), Kampung Simpok, about half and hour drive from Kuching City.
All images were taken at their place since that was the only "private moment" that I had with them which enabled me to photographed them without distractions. It was a hot and hazy day but again...it was fun!

Judith & Paul... enjoy yourselves viewing these images. Thanks for the opportunities and warm hospitality.

3 locations & 3 different times of the day

Well...it's the paddy fields series again. I never get tired of shooting them. Afterall, this type of farming is done only once a year. So, I'll keep shooting before the season is over.

The 1st & 2nd pics were taken this morning after sending my wife to her school. I stopped at the wooden bridge after noticing the nice view and reflections on the water!
The 3rd & 4th pics were taken on my way back from school. I just couldnt resist the view that I saw and finally decided to take some shots.

The 2 last pics were taken in the evening. I thought that I should go back and complete the series. Those people in the images were very friendly and they permitted me to capture them on camera.
